Three Little Pigs and the Naughty Bus!

This half term we have all enjoyed learning the stories of The Three Little Pigs and Naughty Bus. We have been learning the stories off by heart so that we can join in with the words and use different voices for the characters!

We have also been building using lots of different materials, making strong houses for the pigs that will withstand the breath of the Big Bad Wolf, and learning how to use hammers, nailsĀ and saws to make Naughty Buses out of wood.

The children are also becoming very enthusiastic story writers due to this topic.

Keep watching this blog for exciting news after half term, when we will be having some special visitors.

RNLI visit

On Tuesday 10th November a member of the RNLI came to school to talk to the children about lifeboats and the work that the RNLI carry out. The children were really interested in videos of the different boats, and how the RNLI have rescued dogs and sheep as well as people!

Several of our children also enjoyed dressing up in RNLI hard hats and safety vests!
