Should refugees be given asylum in first world countries?

During our weekly debate you shared some excellent reasons for and against, referencing humans rights, thinking about how people feel in war torn countries.
Share your views on this week’s weekly debate, remember everyone has the right to an opinion – should refugees be allowed asylum in first world countries?
I am in the middle because I under stand that people’s homes are being destryoed but they could then come and destroy our homes.
I agree with them coming because they have a right to have a home to stay in and that they think that it would be better for them and their families. I also agree because someone’s child got lost and got hit by bomb and they lost their child so I understand if they don’t want to stay in their home because it brings back too many memories. I also understand why they come because they want love and support which they don’t have anymore in their country and they also want a home and somewhere to stay so they are not in the cold.
I disagree with them because it is our home and if they leave the people that are destoying their homes may just follow and then destroy our homes.I also disagree with them coming because they are using our soldiers to save their homes but what is the point of our army to save their homes when they are just going to come to our community? I also disagree because one of our soldiers went to save a country and by the time he got back he found someone that had come to protect their self in his home.
I think that if they come here they could get trained to protect themselves and their family.
I am in the middle because you dont know that if you let them into a different country if they have a weapon with them and you dont know if they actually are in a lot of danger. So, you dont know wether they are going to be nasty or kind when they are in a different country.
I disagree as some in the uncrc as in it it states that children have a right to a home but other countries do not have provide this also if they come here it raises our taxes for more housing then some of our soldiers go of to fight for these people’s countries that is wrong as by international law as long as we do not have a aid plan we do not have to that refugee could be living in that true heros house my point just thought I might make it clear of what our semi democratic goverment tell us
